Define the service you need
Ingredient supply, white label, private label and custom formulation involve different work. Say whether a formula exists, whether it belongs to you and which parts of the project you want coordinated.
Give commercial and technical boundaries
Include the intended market, format, ingredient restrictions, target specification, first and recurring unit volumes, packaging and desired launch window. Approximate ranges are useful when precise numbers are not yet available.
Agree the development scope
An initial conversation establishes fit. Bespoke research, trials, manufacturer coordination and launch management may then be commissioned under a defined fee or monthly retainer. Ingredients, testing, pilots, packaging and freight should be identified separately where outside the fee.
